What's new

Figures that follow the curve.

On a strategy's page, the figures around the performance curve now speak the curve's language: a percentage tells what the strategy did, an amount tells what its account holds, and the tooltip reads the profit the account really made that day.

Improved the figures under a strategy's total gain

  • Results

The total profit now sits on the line under the headline, beside the balance it is part of, instead of next to the gain percentage. Once money has been added to or taken from the account, the two measure different things, and side by side they seemed to contradict each other.

Fixed the day's profit in the curve's tooltip

  • Results

Hovering a day on the curve now shows the profit the account really made that day. It used to show the move of the curve itself, which drifts away from the account's money once a deposit or a withdrawal has been made.

Fixed the shorter ranges of the gain curve

  • Results

Picking a week, a month or a year now shows that part of the same curve, ending on the total gain written above it. The shorter ranges used to redraw the curve from zero, with percentages that could be several times too large.

Improved the monthly figure of a young strategy

  • Results

A strategy with less than two months of history now shows a monthly figure consistent with its total gain. It used to show the middle value of its first, incomplete months, which did not always match the gain beside it.
